CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS
A dog awarded Winners at a Championship show hosted
by the Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario shall
be credited with a number of championship points
ranging from 0 - 5 and the number of championship
points credited a dog awarded Winners shall be as
provided hereunder. The schedule to be employed in
the determination of the number of points awarded

In addition to Championship points allocated at the breed
level, a dog awarded Best of Breed and also places in the
GROUP competition shall be credited with the following
additional points provided that a dog was defeated at the Group
level.

*Where there is only one Breed competing in the group
and in the judges opinion the dog competing is deemed
worthy of a championship point, then at the judge's
discretion a point shall be awarded to the dog. A dog may
not be credited with more than 5 points at a single show.
In addition to championship points allocated at the Breed
level, and Group level, a dog awarded Best in Show shall
be credited with 5 Championship points. In order for a
dog to be recognized as a Canadian Rare Breed Champion
and its owner issued a Championship Certificate, the dog
must earn 15 points under three different judges.
No dog will be awarded Canadian Rare Breed Champion until
the dog has earned at least one of the Championship
Points after it has reached one year of age.
